Down to the Wire!

The neighborhoods have been "walked", doorbells rung, and voters have been met with information about my candidacy and why I want to serve them!  Cards have been sent, personal postcards mailed, and phone calls made!  We are standing on busy corners every morning during Early Voting to wave to voters and hold our signs!  We are present from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Rahling Rd. Thompson Library and at the main voting site downtown with signs and greetings and asking voters to cast their vote for Carolyn Y. Staley for State Representative, District 32!

We are staying bouyed in spirit through the smiles, "good luck" messages, thumbs up, and "WE VOTED FOR YOU" messages!

We know there are many hurdles and bumps to overcome and we're addressing each one:

I'm NOT the former County Clerk!

Democrats are great folks who gave us Social Security, Medicare, the GI Bill, and the Civil Rights Act---which of those do you wish to give back?

The Democrat-Gazette has a GOP bias, so forget about getting a letter printed or any positive word of support for our campaign.

People are angry this year, but it's been fomented by agitators who want the Dems out at the federal level.  But there are voters who really do think, who aren't ripe for picking, and who know our country didn't arrive at its current problems over the past 22 months.

We are encouraged, excited, and energized!  Now, off to the polls to greet more voters!  Who cares about the rain?  We needed it!  Have a great day!

Arkansas Times Endorsement Today!

Thanks to Max Brantley and the editorial staff of the Arkansas Times for their endorsement today of my race for State Representative, District 32.

With the other statewide paper's (Democrat Gazette) strong bias toward GOP candidates, it is refreshing to have an alternative voice in the press.

I am delighted to have this good news today.  Add this endorsement to that of the AFL-CIO, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Arkansas State Employees Association, hundreds of friends, and other endorsements to come!

Thanks to all who support me and believe I am the best qualified candidate for this position.  I am honored to have your stamp of approval!
